Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Condos for Sale

The ending of the 2018 summer brought an interesting change to the most popular area of Las Vegas known as The Strip. As of August the 30th, the luxurious Waldorf Astoria brand has finally secured its place in the Sin City with the Hilton.

Worldwide purchasing one of the most prestigious properties in the area. The Mandarin Oriental hotel that opened in 2009 has officially been converted to a Waldorf Astoria property, as the brand is going to take over the operation of the hotel and all its amenities.

"An Unforgettable Experience in an Unforgettable Hotel Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, formerly Mandarin Oriental, is set in a luxurious, non-gaming, non-smoking environment, just steps away from the city’s signature shopping, dining and entertainment offerings.
The hotel offers unforgettable experiences in an unforgettable city. Luxurious guest rooms and suites offer breathtaking views, a sprawling spa features two guest floors of customized wellness offerings
and dynamic culinary experiences range from the Forbes Five Star Twist by Pierre Gagnaire to the Tea Lounge and SkyBar, which serves up handcrafted cocktails 23 floors above the Strip." - Trip Advisor

The Mandarin Oriental hotel was considered one of the best and most luxurious hotels on The Strip with its interiors initially designed by Adam Tihany. The property featured Eastern style decorations and interiors inspired by the 1930s Shangai.

However, with Waldorf Astoria taking over, we are expecting to see some serious renovation done in the following few months. With the purchase of the Mandarin Hotel, Waldorf Astoria has finally extended its reach to the Western areas of the United States, as they saw a great opportunity in investing into the rising Las Vegas market.

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Location

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Condos for SaleAs for the property itself, the hotel is located right in the center of The Strip, on the 3752 S Las Vegas blvd to be precise. It is in close proximity to all the relevant amenities and venues of The Strip, including the Bellagio Fountains, the T-mobile Arena and The Park. Featuring 47 stories, this skyscraper is both a hotel and a condominium building.

As such, it is part of a well known CityCenter complex that includes the Veer Towers condominiums, a luxurious shopping mall, the Vdara Hotel, as well as the ARIA Casino-Resort. The luxurious hotel features a total of 392 guest rooms, while the condominium section has 225 condo units located on the upper floors. With 12 300 square feet of additional space and countless amenities, the Waldorf Astoria hotel has a lot to offer to the Las Vegas tourists.

"I love staying and playing at Aria. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable and the property is very well laid out for easy access to restaurants and gaming from the rooms. The rooms are also very well sound-proofed. The poker room is well run and table game dealers are friendly, efficient, accurate, and keep everything moving as it should. Everything from dining to decor feels luxurious but the vibe is not at all pretentious. It's a little out of the way depending what you're interested in - about a 20 minute walk to the middle of the Strip (about a $13 cab ride), and traffic can get treacherous with events at the arena, but the north entrance/taxi stand is an easy enough in-and-out to avoid the traffic. This was my second stay (5 nights) and it's my first-choice property on the Strip." - TripAdvisor

Among its amenities is an outdoor pool deck, a full service spa center, multiple dining options, as well as a beautiful bar on the 23rd floor, which has been renamed to SkyBar. Furthermore, the property also features a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, along with extra space for classes and other activities, as well as 17 well-equipped treatment rooms.

Interestingly, the Waldorf Astoria hotel is one of the rare facilities located on The Strip that doesn’t feature a casino. While the new hotel managers from Hilton Worldwide were concerned about the lack of the casino space affecting the tourists’ choice, this fact is going to remain unchanged. Even after all the renovations and redesign plans that Waldorf Astoria has in mind, the hotel is going to remain a non-gambling and non-smoking facility.

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas VIDEO Overview

This is great news for those traveling to Las Vegas for business, or simply for people who are looking to stay away from everything Las Vegas is famous for. On the other hand, those who enjoy gambling don’t have to miss out on the wonders of this hotel because the ARIA Casino and Resort facility is located in the same complex.

Therefore, if you’re looking to try your luck out, you’ll have a chance to do so in the nearby casino facility. Many other aspects of the hotel are going to rename unchanged, such as the staff members that will remain the same, as well as the food and beverage program that’s been doing well so far.

In the Waldorf Astoria you can easily visit the Zen Kitchen

"We had dinner and lunch here several times during our trip to Vegas (as it was in our hotel) and loved it! Super accommodating for vegans and the flavors are on point. I'll agree that it's a bit expensive for what it is, but the prices are comparable to other restaurants on the strip. It's also not as crowed as some of the other hotel restaurants. It's a great space to sip a nice glass of wine and have a nice dinner in peace and quiet. We'll be back!" - Yelp.com Reviewer

As for the expected changes, it will take around 18 months for all renovation and redesigning plans to be realized. For now, the biggest change is the name of the hotel and several renamed amenities, such as for example the Mozen Bistro that has been renamed to Zen Kitchen.

As a fast-growing brand in the United States, Waldorf Astoria maintains its reputation of luxury and high class service. They are fully guest-oriented and tend to provide an unforgettable experience to anyone who pays them a visit. It is important to mention that besides the stunning reputation, the Waldorf Astoria brand holds several prestigious awards, including the AAA Five Diamond Award and not one but three Forbes Five Star Awards.

"The Waldorf Las Vegas is a quiet paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas strip. You are within walking distance of the Aria and New York, New York, but the Waldorf itself is peaceful and quiet because there's no casino. I would definitely stay here again." - Trip Advisor

"This hotel is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the strip. Yes, it's fun and exciting to walk through the busy hotels that have lots going on, but it was so nice to come back to a peaceful place after lots of walking in crowds where there's a serene and relaxed vibe. We were also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! Room service was REALLY delicious, as was the sushi at the on-site restaurant, Zen Kitchen.
Afternoon tea was also GREAT, best scones I ever tasted! Staff all around was superb; everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were always cleaned, and we never even saw the maid service. Very close to Crystals (high end) mall, as well as Eataly Italian food emporium.
Highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Vegas but don't necessarily enjoy having a casino downstairs, making your way through crowds in your lobby, and the loud drunken antics that you see a lot in Vegas.
As a bonus, we met an extremely famous musician in the elevator who was playing one of the larger hotels on the strip; apparently he was a guest at the hotel, and wanted to "get away" as well! Overall, highly recommend this hotel for adults. If you're on spring break and want to act like you're 21 again, I'd recommend staying elsewhere." - Trip Advisor

Even though the Mandarin Oriental Hotel was highly popular in its time, the new Waldorf Astoria is now going to become the center of attention in the Las Vegas Strip. The facility will be the host of many exciting performances, as well as conventions and business meetings of all kinds.

Having purchased the Mandarin Oriental Hotel property for the price of approximately 214 million dollars, Hilton Worldwide has finally left its footprint in the city of Las Vegas. Allowing its brand of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts to fully take over the facility’s operation, Hilton Worldwide has once again proven to be the leading name in the industry. The renamed hotel is now owned by Andrew and Peggy Cherng, as well as by Tiffany Lam.

"Quiet Oasis in the middle of the strip. The room was one of the best laid out and thoughtful hotel rooms I think I have ever stayed in! Every detail made sense.
The staff were very nice and attentive. I would definitely come back" - Trip Advisor

Those who frequently visit Las Vegas for business and other occasions will be thrilled to enjoy the spacious amenities of the new Waldorf Astoria hotel. Even though the property lacks the key amenity to success in Las Vegas, the lack of gambling space will not affect its popularity and reputation, as claimed by the managers.

While many things are going to remain the same when it comes to the overall structure of the property, we are still expecting major changes to be made in the hotel’s design. However, it will take longer than a year for Waldorf Astoria to fully settle in and realize all their plans for the future.

"Stayed here for a business trip and am so happy I chose the hotel. It's not as crazy as the casino hotels, the level of service was top notch, and the room was spectacular. If you have time, book a seating for high tea in the sky lounge, a must!" - Trip Advisor

Still, the old Mandarin Oriental facility is still going to remain one of the finest and most luxurious properties on The Strip. In fact, with Hilton Worldwide taking over, we are expecting the hotel to grow even further and maintain its reputation of high class, luxury, and style. After all, the facility is located in the center of The Strip so it’s natural it will be one of the most popular hotels around.

Overall, if you are looking for a luxurious Las Vegas hotel, Waldorf Astoria is the way to go. The facility offers world class services and amenities, as well as spacious hotel rooms and suites. The tea lounge within the facility is a great place to relax and enjoy in some delicious afternoon tea. If you're in the mood for something stronger, you can head over to the bar for some handcrafted cocktails.

Let's not forget about all the spa features and fitness equipment situated in the Waldorf Astoria hotel facility. This high rise complex offers everything you need for an active lifestyle, including fitness activities and relaxation.

The condo units for sale feature state of the art appliances and modern design. The luxury provided by such a high end facility attracts thousands of businessmen, entrepreneurs and even celebrities. Contact us for more details about the currently available mls real estate listings copyright 2019.
