As is custom in Venice, couples are expected to kiss when passing under the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Love is in the air at Rice & Company this Valentine’s Day as Executive Chef Danny Chen introduces the new mouthwatering sushi creation “Naughty & Spice” now being served at the restaurant at Luxor Hotel and Casino. This themed specialty roll is stuffed with crunchy shrimp tempura, spicy tuna and juicy mango,  topped with salmon and avocado. Sliced strawberries and a spicy strawberry sauce envelop Chen’s decadent invention, creating a tantalizing mixture of sugar and spice. The roll is priced at $16.

Ladies looking to heat up their love lives this Valentine’s Day can learn the art of seduction from real Las Vegas showgirls at Excalibur Hotel & Casino’s interactive class Night School 4 Girls. With signature burlesque and pole dance moves ladies will learn the skills it takes to ensure that all of the luck in Vegas isn’t only found on the casino floor. In addition to learning new, sexy moves, students will be taught the basics of partying Las Vegas style from Laura Croft. Comme Ça at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will feature a Valentine’s Day prix fixe dinner February 14. The meal will be priced at $99 per person, with the option of a wine pairing for an additional $50 per person. Guests will begin their dining experience with a choice of the ‘Beeting’ Hearts hors d’oeuvre, which features hearts of roasted beats, blood orange, crushed hazelnuts and horseradish; or Seared Dayboat Scallops with champagne butter, Osetra caviar and candied rose petal. Diners will also have the option of adding Fruits de Mer from the signature raw bar for an additional $40 per person. For the main course, patrons can indulge in Lobster Thermidor or the eatery’s popular Beef Wellington. Guests will enjoy a tasting of truffles for the dessert course including white chocolate with rose champagne truffles, smoked dark chocolate with chili truffles and milk chocolate truffles made with condensed milk.

LBS Burger Joint at Red Rock Resort will celebrate stag for “Anti Valentine’s Day” on Tuesday, Feb. 14. Celebrate a “single” relationship status at LBS with specialty “Anti Valentine’s Day” cocktails, only offered on Valentine’s Day. The shot and cocktail combo, priced at $14, will be a sweet ending to the night.

PBR Rock Bar & Grill will offer the ultimate date night for couples who want to commemorate the holiday in a rockin’ way with hearty American comfort food, drink specials and bull riding on Tuesday, Feb. 14.Lovebirds can start their night with romantic, two-for-one bull rides on the daunting mechanical bull and make a toast to their love with two-for-one glasses of champagne.

This Valentine’s Day, The Barrymore inside The Royal Resort will provide guests with a prix fixe dinner sure to please all lovebirds.The evening starts with a choice of roasted tomato tarte tatin with goat cheese, caramelized onions and haricot vert pesto or tuna tartar with avocado relish, caviar crème, chive oil and papadums crisps. For the second course, couples may choose from pan seared dorade, braised and gratin endives and jambon broth or pistachio crusted lamb rack, smoked potato and Roquefort gnocchi, confit tomato and natural jus. Couples can celebrate their love Feb. 14 at Sugar Factory American Brasserie at Paris Las Vegas. The decadent four-course menu is priced at $75 per couple and served from 1 p.m. until midnight. Begin with an amuse-bouche of Sweet 100 tomato bruschetta,followed by a market greens salad. For the main course, guests may elect to have the chateaubriand for two of roasted angus beef accompanied by whipped Yukon Gold potatoes and asparagus, drizzled with a savory red wine mushroom sauce or the Maine lobster fettuccine with garden peas, fresh herbs and a rich Alfredo sauce. Dessert includes strawberries, lemon pound cake, red velvet cake and brownie bites, ready to be dipped in a white chocolate red velvet fondue, served warm at the table.

Caesars Entertainment resorts will be celebrating Valentine’s Day in their spas. Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace will offer sweet treat facials and sensual couples’ massages. For those solo, Rio Spa & Salon at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino will be celebrating Singles Awareness Day with its take on anti-Valentine’s treatments including a makeover for revenge. Spa by Mandara at Paris Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will offer lavish romance and luxury couples’ treatments in private suites.

“Fantasy” at the Luxor is teaming with Tacos & Tequila and Rice & Company for dinner and show packages for Valentine’s Day. Valid February 1 – 29, patrons purchasing the “Get a Heart On” package will receive a prix fixe menu at either restaurant, two tickets to “Fantasy” and a 2012 Ultimate “Fantasy” calendar.

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House will offer a special Valentine’s feature available February 14th – an 8-ounce filet and 8-ounce lobster tail for $79.

Rhumbar at The Mirage will showcase love story movies on the patio while guests sip weather inspired concoctions and cuddle with their Valentine under a specially made Rhumbar Snuggie. On Tuesday, Feb. 14, patrons will enjoy classic romantic movies such as “Casablanca,” “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and others, while they cuddle up under Snuggies. Guests will also enjoy tasty treats such as the “S’mooches and S’mores,” the “Butter Me Up” and the “Apple Pie.”

From Wednesday, Feb. 8, until Tuesday, Feb. 14, Michael Boychuck’s world-renowned salons – COLOR, a Salon by Michael Boychuck at Caesars Palace and AMP Salon at the Palms Resort & Casino – will offer the specialty package for $185, originally valued at $240. The salons will pamper clients with a professional make-up application with lashes, an express manicure and an express pedicure. Clients will have the option to upgrade packages for an additional cost.

Alizé at the Palms will offer a special four-course menu for Valentine’s Day. The cost for the meal $125 per person and features items like an amuse bouche, a first course of either roasted king crab or foie gras terrine and a dessert trio that will feature a long-stem strawberry with chocolate fondue and shortbread cookies, Meyer lemon gateau with blackberry sauce and poppy seed gaufrette, and white chocolate and macadamia torte with a caramelized Florentine.

Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer at Excalibur Hotel & Casino will celebrate Valentine’s Day with live entertainment from dueling pianos as well as barbecue and beer specials on Tuesday, Feb. 14. Priced at $19.95 per person, guests will indulge in the “Tap That Special” for two that includes a quarter pound of brisket, two spare ribs and a hot link sandwich with a choice of two sides. Guests will enjoy $3 beers on tap including Lynyrd Skynyrd Lager, Coors Light and PBR Shiner Bock.

Celebrate El Dia Del Amor, Chef Saul Ortiz has created a special Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu for couples to share on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Tacos & Tequila (T&T) inside Luxor Hotel and Casino. Priced at $29 per person, the menu features appetizers, a choice between three entrées and a dessert sampler that includes a traditional Mexican flan, a chocolate morenita sundae and a sweet tres leches cake.

Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas is celebrating Valentine’s Day for an entire week, serving up specials from Thursday, Feb.9 through Wednesday, Feb. 16. Throughout the week, guests can begin their meal with a warm cup of rich lobster bisque with lobster pomme puree or try the seasonal tartine of wild and tamed mushrooms with poached egg and chive aioli. For the main course, indulge in sautéed sea bass with crab mashed potatoes and Champagne butter sauce or savory beef Wellington. End the evening on a sweet note with blood orange and coconut sorbet or a slice of red velvet cake.

Silverton Casino Hotel welcomes singles to the Stupid Cupid singles mixer Feb. 11 at 7 p.m., where they can mix and mingle during a speed dating event as well as enjoy beer pong and a live DJ and karaoke. In addition, those who participate in the speed dating portion of the evening can look forward to free cocktails. Admission for the night is $5 with a Silverton Rewards Club Card and $10 without a card.

Marriage Can Be Murder, an interactive comedy and murder mystery dinner experience at Fitzgeralds, will have special Valentine’s-themed shows Feb. 10 – 14 that include a special menu, chocolates and more.

The Country Club at Wynn is offering a special aphrodisiac menu for Valentine’s Day. Executive Chef Carlo Guia has planned a selection of special dishes including chilled oysters on the half shell; house-smoked salmon parfait with ‘caviar cube;’ pan roasted sea scallops; grilled filet mignon with asparagus and roasted garlic fingerling potato hash and Cognac demi-glaze and a chocolate fondue for two, with strawberries, raspberries, pineapple, port-macerated figs and vanilla macaroons. These specials may be ordered a la carte, or enjoyed as a complete five-course meal at a prix fixe of $95 per person, not inclusive of tax and gratuity.

In addition to the complete a la carte menu, executive chef Billy DeMarco has created a prix fixe, five-course Valentine’s Day tasting menu at La Cave at Wynn. The special menu features roasted squash salad; tuna and stone crab salad with a blood orange dressing; sweet potato gnocchi with braised short rib and a pea puree; carved filet and lobster tail with creamed spinach and potato gratin and a chef’s selection of desserts. The five-course menu is prix fixe, priced at $95 per person, not inclusive of tax and gratuity. For an additional $50, each course can be paired with a Sommelier selection of wine. All guests who opt for the Valentine’s Day tasting menu will also receive a complimentary glass of Beau Joie Champagne.

Parasol Up and Down bars at Wynn are serving the Aphrodite, an effervescent drink combining Perrier Jouet Grand Brut Champagne, Absolut raspberry vodka and organic raspberry syrup. Aphrodite will be available at Parasol Up and Down, Feb. 10-14.

Special Events

Big Game Party at Cili. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat gourmet buffet and an all-you-can-drink premium open bar as you watch the big game on multiple big-screen televisions. Located on the Bali Hai Golf Club on the Las Vegas Strip, Cili is a gourmet restaurant offering American dishes with Thai and Asian influences. Doors open at 1 p.m. on Feb. 5. Blitzed also features unique music and sports memorabilia. The first expansion doubled the size of the unit of intensive care unit in 1999. In 2001, the number of available beds has doubled in another expansion. A suite of four pediatric emergency beds was opened in June 2005. The plans were announced on March 13, 2007 to expand the hospital of 480 beds and add a second medical office building with 80,000 square feet (7,400 m2) on campus. The expansion cost $ 100 million and it entered its final phase with the breaking floor patient tower. The expansion of ER and 600 parking spaces have been completed. [2] The expansion was opened in December 2009 and added an additional 173 private patient rooms, an expanded labor and delivery unit, a new state of the art Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a room Emergency extended with a dedicated Pediatric ER.

The hospital also has a 17-bed neonatal intensive care units and a room with four beds for pediatrics emergencies. With robotic surgery, a children’s medical center, a sleep study center and a rehabilitation center.
